Who am I?
Lieber Leser

When I was younger, I used to travel to Germany every few years to visit my mom’s side of the family. While there, we often travelled around to several different cities, primarily for sight-seeing, but slowly, I started noticing differences between the way some people in one city acted, and how people of other cities acted. Therein began my love for travelling and culture, one of my most prominent hobbies, alongside photography, reading, cooking, and baking (although my love for each waxes and wanes occasionally—except for traveling; love for photography only wanes when there are moments I wish to “unplug” and simply exist within nature and life).
I am a student in graduate school at Texas Tech University, currently working towards my master’s degree in Technical Communication. Originally, I went to college to pursue a health profession as a Speech-Language Pathologist. However, my love for language, stories, and interest in the way languages work ultimately led me to pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, with minors in both technical communication and linguistics. Upon graduating from university, I realized that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives with better communication, ultimately leading me to pursue more studies in technical communication.
Why the academic background? My academic background and interests for bleed into this blog. My interest and passion for stories, culture, writing, and learning are reflected in this blog.
